The room very nice and quiet. The bed comfortable ... slept like the 👼 angels. The breakfast left nothing to be desired 👍

We were guests for one night and also had dinner at the inn. Our room was large and clean with a nice view. The breakfast was great and lovingly prepared. There were even gluten-free options. The staff is very friendly and gives you a comfortable feeling. Dinner was a treat for the palate. Especially the wild cakes surprised us in a positive way. We also had carp and deer shoulder. It was all delicious. We would love to come back!

Rather sober, but still pleasant atmosphere in the dining room. Above-average ambitious choice of dishes. The pork schnitzel was accompanied by an absolutely delicious, lukewarm potato salad! Bravo! I emphasize this because I haven't had anything comparably good in an inn for months.

Very good Franconian restaurant with very nice and courteous wait staff and a charismatic chef. Idyllic location, stayed for two nights and enjoyed two dinners. Everything is very varied, tasty and really creative. The game was tender and the roast beef was perfect. Soup and carpaccio as starters are very delicious, someone knows his trade here! The local beer and the wine list round off the whole thing very nicely. Room was spacious, clean and with a nice view of the outside. We felt comfortable at all times and it will certainly not be the last time.

Roast duck with savoy cabbage and potato dumplings was very good.

We discovered Landgasthof Weichlein by chance when we were at the garden market next door and decided to have lunch there. The dishes are really extraordinary - something completely different from what you get in Franconian restaurants as standard. Excellent food and very courteous, fast service, really great! We can recommend the restaurant unreservedly.

09/27/2020 It is always worthwhile, not just for the exhibition for garden and living on the castle grounds. The Wienerschnitzel is baked just right. The potato salad a revelation. The salad is well presented. So go there and see for yourself. Welcome to a Franconian country inn.

Nice people, very good food, nice rooms, nice location!

People like to wait for good, freshly prepared food! Very nice boss and very nice staff! Breakfast also of very good quality, something for every taste. Spacious room, everything was very clean. I can only recommend!

Beer garden like at the gardener's. Many plants. Food was delicious and comfortable wide beds and great service.

We discovered the country inn by chance on the drive into the Bavarian Forest. We were greeted by the friendly service and had a free choice of table. The drinks and the food came after a reasonable waiting time. The sauerbraten was super tender and tasty, the baked potatoes in a cream sauce with fresh mushrooms and a sour cream topping with herbs were really tasty. A down-to-earth country inn in a suitable atmosphere with good food at fair prices.

Perfect stopover! Great food, nice new rooms.

I’ve been to this hotel so many times and it’s always a pleasure! It’s really close to the highway so it’s easy to reach. The rooms are recently renovated and they look modern. It’s always very clean. The food is outstanding. Real good german cuisine. Breakfast is included and is of good quality. Last but not least; the owners are very friendly and helpful. So, if you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, don’t hesitate to choose this hotel!

Lovely hotel with good restaurant. The rooms are very clean and large. Decor is from the 80s-90s, but that is no downside. Free WiFi with excellent range and speed everywhere. Breakfast buffet (with gluten-free items). Very friendly. Perfect for a stopover on or from vacation.

Excellent simple overnight hotel with top cuisine, delicious local wines and pleasant service. I've been coming here for 12 years. The chef has won several awards. Surroundings are beautifully sloping and give that real holiday feeling. Oh ... don't forget the Schnaps. Breakfast is good but not very extensive. Close to the A3 but no noise pollution. Also nice for a few days, you can make beautiful bike rides or make another outing in the area.
